BBQ'ed Oysters

BBQ Oysters 

Serves 4-6 as an appetizer 

  • 12 Taylor Shellfish Top Off Oysters
  • 1.5 cups non-spicy bbq sauce
  • ¼ cup finely chopped parsley 
  • ¼ cup toasted breadcrumbs 
  • ½ cup fresh mozzarella 

One of the easiest stunners in our recipe box; simply mix the bbq sauce mozzarella and parsley and top each oyster with a generous dollop of sauce and cheese before sprinkling bread crumbs over the top.  Carefully place oysters on your grill’s gate using tongs and cover the grill, cooking for 5-7 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is visibly gooey. 

Remove from the grill with tongs and serve hot.
