Spend a brief time at our Samish Farm and you will fall in love with the sublime beauty of the bay. Our tidelands seem to stretch all the way across the Rosario Strait to the islands of the San Juan Archipelago. Throughout the day and into the evening the changing light plays on the rugged shoreline and waters of the bay to create a kaleidoscope of mood and color. The oysters grown here seem to rise to the challenge of the surroundings by developing a uniquely crisp, slightly salty flavor. This is our northern-most Washington State farm, and for that reason the spawning season is delayed. This means our Windy Points and European Flats can be enjoyed at their peak flavor late into the summer.
